My Moet is another really stunning colt by Metall out of our Elite De Niro mare.  His face is exquisite - dished and alert with a generous eye, and his frame is compact and strong.  He is dynamic and active - a real boy - with three athletic paces; and he is already showing a marked ability to 'sit' in canter and trot with the hind leg well brought under and a super elevated foreleg.  We are thrilled with this boy, and he reminds us very much of his full brother who won an Elite premium at the BEF Futurity and a Premium designation from the Oldenburg Verband.  Although he currently looks a very bright bay, his adult coat will be dark bay.

Drogheda is a very lovely (both in mind and body) State Premium mare who won Elite status after her son by Loxley II was licensed in Verden in 2010.  She is by the world famous stallion De Niro, who currently tops the WBFSH (World Breeding for Sport Horses 2013) rankings; on the dam side she is from a long line of beautiful Trakhena horses.

Metall, a son of Ferro, has super conformation with a long impressive neck, beautiful head and balanced movement.  "Metall's offspring often inherit his great conformation and a high degree of quality and refinement. They tend to be built very uphill and have beautiful heads. Their movement shows much power in the hind leg, lots of elevation in the front legs, and they have supple backs.  Metall achieved the highest marks for the ¨M¨ year stallion testing.  He was champion of the 2001 Indoor Brabant Stallion show with offspring examination. During several stallion competitions in 2001, Metall was First at Groesbeek and Weert, Second at Hengelo and Reserve Champion in the finals at Den Bosch.   He competed successfully up to Prix St. Georges and has produced several Grand Prix horses and licensed sons such as Special D, Maserati, Memphis, Modjo, Ufo and of course the wonderful Uthopia (Olympic and European medallist).  Numerous offspring are competing at advanced level dressage or small tour for example Modjo, Rapaz, Schermershof Suprise, Special D, Scaramouche, Uranium W,Broere Ufo, Us Abe, Talinda, T-Date M, Tiva-Nana , Valentino Sollenburg, Well Done Sollenburg.  There are also impressive offspring in 1.50m showjumping clases, such as Rentall with Kate Levy.

Metall's approved son, Special D, continues to compete very successfully at the stallion competitions. Special D sired one of the highest priced offspring at the 2008 KWPN stallion selection which was auctioned for 125,000 euro. Daughter Rabiola (owned by Iron Spring Farm) was Grand Champion in 2006 at Dressage at Devon, USA, 3rd in the National Mare Keuring in Holland, and Reserve Champion at the mare show in Brussels. Vodarijk, is a Metall daughter who took 3rd place in the 2006 Pavo Cup 4 Year Old Division, and was 2005 Reserve Champion at the KWPN Mare Championships.  His son Ucento was in the medals at the European Young Rider Championships in 2009 and 2010.

Metall's sire, the gorgeous black stallion Ferro, achieved the Team Silver medal as member of the Dutch Team at the Olympic Games in 2000, placed sixth at the World Championships in Rome and second at the World Cup Final in 1999.  In the 2013 WBFSH rankings Ferro is in 12th place with many licensed sons such as Negro and Rousseau, who was Vice World Champion for Young Dressage Horses and has had three KWPN champion stallions.  Dam's sire Ramiro is a world famous sire of jumping horses and produced numerous international grand prix horses such as Olympic gold medalist Ratina Z.

Ulft, Moet's great grandfather, is considered by some highly influential experts in the KWPN world to be the most important sire in Dutch Dressage breeding.
