In September 2019 Waverley Fellini and Greg Sims came 3rd in the Shearwater Young Horse Final at the National British Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh Park!  This was after qualifying with the highest score in the country of 8.86 under judge Stephen Clarke at the Hartpury semi finals.  We are so proud of this wonderful and very beautiful horse and congratulate Stena Hoerner and Greg Sims on his aquisition wishing them every luck for the future..

Our Furstenball gelding Waverley Fellini was born on June 11th 2015 and is out of Elite and State Premium Lady Sunshine.  He has a beautiful face, superb uphill conformation and wonderful paces - all three.  He is now starting his ridden career.  He was backed over Christmas by Greg Sims (who used to be bereiter for the Eilbergs) in less than a week; and within two and a half weeks he was going beautifully in the arena in walk, trot and canter, proving very submissive and trainable under saddle.  He is also hacking out confidently.  (Video is available on the Waverley Stud Face Book page of his first hack and of him in trot and canter in the arena.)  Greg describes him as naturally forward thinking and bold.  He has taken each new stage of training in his stride from first lunge to ridden, and is a happy, confident and affectionate horse.

Dam Lady Sunshine (Sandro Hit x De Niro x Pik Bube) is from one of the most admired lines in Oldenburg and is simply one of the best mares I have seen in terms of conformation, movement and temperament.  She is full sister to the Grand Prix Stallion Sir Diamond and numbers numerous famous stallions among her close family e.g. Furst Wilhelm, Furst William, Decamerone, Jazz Mate etc and has several children competing in sport or with state premium status.

Sire Furstenball is fast becoming one of the most successful sires of modern times, with numerous licensed sons and State Premium daughters.
